 Lost Connection Popup
Solution "NOTE: Please wait at least 10 seconds while Unison attempts to reconnect you. After 10 seconds, select OK to refresh your screen."

Issue: Sometimes while working in a course, Unison will display the message above. When you receive this message it may mean one of two things:

(1) Your connection could truly be lost. You should check your internet connection to make sure you have not been disconnected.

(2) Unison is thinking. Certain tasks that cause Unison to "think" hard can cause this message to appear.

Tasks that will almost always cause this problem include:

-Saving a course as a course template
-Creating a course from a course template
-Copying over the source files

Tasks that may rarely cause this problem include:

-Adding a page
-Saving the course
-Moving a page in the tree structure

Current status: Rapid Intake is currently working on the problem.

Fix date estimate: Quarter 3, 2009.

Work-around: Whenever you see this message, the best thing to do is wait (do not click OK). If you are performing any of the tasks listed above, the message will disappear as soon as the task as completed. For longer tasks, such as saving the course as a course template, this may take several minutes.

If you are not performing any of the above-listed tasks, check your internet connection. If your connection is fine and after 30 seconds or so the message has not disappeared, simply close the authoring tool and open it again.
